These Regulations may be cited as the Victim Surcharge (Scotland) Regulations 2019 and come into force in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).

These Regulations come into force on 25 November 2019.

Part 1 of these Regulations comes into force in respect of all offences committed on or after that date.

For the purposes of paragraph (3), where an offence is found to have been committed over a period of 2 or more days, or at some time during a period of 2 or more days, it is to be taken to have been committed on the first of those days.
