The Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 (Scotland) (Commencement No. 6) Order 2000

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 89(1) of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 19991, make the following order:
Citation and intepretation1
This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 (Scotland) (Commencement No. 6) Order 2000.

In this Order, “Act” means the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999.
Appointed day2
The day appointed for the coming into force of–
a
section 84(1) of the Act so far as relating to paragraphs 8(3) and (4) of Schedule 12 to the Act; and
b
paragraphs 8(3) and (4) of Schedule 12 to the Act,
is 15th April 2000.
