Amendment of the 1992 Order

2.  In article 3(c) of the 1992 Order (application for planning permission)–

(a)the word “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (iv) shall be omitted;

(b)for “Regulations.” at the end of sub-paragraph (v), substitute “Regulations; and”; and

(c)after sub-paragraph (v), insert the following sub-paragraph:–

(vi)where the application relates to the installation of an antenna to be employed in a telecommunciations system, within the meaning of section 4(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1984(1), a declaration by the applicant that the antenna is designed to be in full compliance with the requirements of the radio frequency public exposure guidelines of the International Commission on Non-Ionising Radiation Protection, as expressed in EU Council recommendation of 12 July 1999(2) on the limitation of exposure of the general public to electro magnetic fields (0Hz to 300 GHz)..
