The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(6) and 5 of the Education (Disability Strategies and Pupils' Educational Records) (Scotland) Act 2002(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, after consulting such representatives of responsible bodies and with such other persons (or their representatives) likely to be affected by the Regulations as appear to them to be appropriate, in accordance with section 5(3) of the said Act, hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Disability Strategies) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st February 2003.
2. Regulation 3(h) of the Education (Disability Strategies) (Scotland) Regulations 2002(2) is omitted.

These Regulations amend provisions in the Education (Disability Strategies) (Scotland) Regulations 2002 which set out the alternative forms in which responsible bodies should make their accessibility strategies available on request.
2002 asp 12. Section 135(1) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980 (c. 44) contains a definition of prescribed relevant to the making of these regulations. Functions of the Secretary of State were transferred to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46).
