The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000(1), and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 (Devolved Public Bodies) Order 2003, and shall come into force on 1st May 2003.
2.—(1) The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000(2) shall be amended in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (2).
(2) In schedule 3–
(a)omit–
(i)“The Clinical Standards Board for Scotland”;
(ii)“The Health Technology Board for Scotland”; and
(iii)“The Scottish Council for Post Graduate Medical and Dental Education”; and
(b)insert at the appropriate place–
(i)“NHS Education for Scotland”; and
(ii)“NHS Quality Improvement Scotland”.

This Order modifies schedule 3 to the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000, which lists those bodies that are a “devolved public body” for the purpose of that Act.
Article 2 of this Order omits from that schedule devolved public bodies that have been abolished, and inserts new bodies that have been established.
