The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman Act 2002 (Consequential Modification of Instruments) Order 2003

Amendment of the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Rules 1994

3.  Rule 62B of the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Rules 1994(1) (visits by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration or Officers on his behalf) is amended as follows:–

(a) in sub-paragraph (1) the words “, or the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman or any person authorised by him” are inserted after the word “him”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (2) the words “, or by the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman or any person authorised by him” are inserted after the word “him”; and

(c) in sub-paragraph (2)(b) the words “, or the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman or his representative” are inserted after the word “representative”.
