Transfer of days by any relevant British fishing boat from one period to the next for the purposes of paragraph 10(a) of Annex XVII is permitted to the extent specified in paragraph (2).

The number of days transferred in relation to the boat from one period to the next is the maximum number of unused days which may be permitted to be so transferred under paragraph 10(a) of Annex XVII, rounded down to the nearest whole number.
