These Regulations, which extend to Scotland only, provide for the administration and enforcement of the Community system of classification of beef carcases as required by Commission Regulation (EEC) No. 344/91 laying down detailed rules for applying Council Regulation (EEC) No. 1186/90 to extend the scope of the Community scale for the classification of carcases of adult bovine animals (O.J. No. L 41, 14.2.91, p.15).
Exemption3
The classification requirements shall not be compulsory in relation to an exempt occupier or an exempt carcase.
