Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(2) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 20031 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Victim Statements (Prescribed Offences) (Scotland) Revocation Order 2005 and shall come into force on 25th November 2005.

Revocations2

The following Orders are hereby revoked–

i

the Victim Statements (Prescribed Offences) (Scotland) Order 20032;

ii

the Victim Statements (Prescribed Offences) (Scotland) Amendment Order 20033; and

iii

the Victim Statements (Prescribed Offences) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 20044.

This Order revokes the Victim Statements (Prescribed Offences) (Scotland) Order 2003 (S.S.I. 2003/441), the Victim Statements (Prescribed Offences) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2003 (S.S.I. 2003/519) and the Victim Statements (Prescribed Offences) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2004 (S.S.I. 2004/287). These orders prescribed offences for the purposes of section 14(2) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003.
