This Order makes modifications to subordinate legislation. These modifications are consequential to the Civil Partnership Act 2004 (c. 33) (“the 2004 Act”).
It amends a number of pieces of subordinate legislation to ensure that civil partners are given parity of treatment and status as spouses in areas of law that are not contained within the 2004 Act.
