This Order applies in Scotland only and amends the Avian Influenza (H5N1 in Wild Birds) (Scotland) Order 2006 which implements Commission Decision 2006/115/EC, as amended by Commission Decision 2006/277/EC, concerning certain protection measures in relation to highly pathogenic avian influenza in wild birds in the Community and repealing Decisions 2006/86/EC, 2006/90/EC, 2006/91/EC, 2006/94/EC, 2006/104/EC and 2006/105/EC (O.J. No. L 48, 18.2.06, p.28).

This Order clarifies the position regarding movement of certain poultry products including table eggs, and reduces the minimum duration of a surveillance zone.
