The Seed Potatoes (Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2006

Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16(1) and (1A)(e) of the Plant Varieties and Seeds Act 19641 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and after consultation in accordance with section 16(1) of that Act with representatives of such interests as appear to them to be concerned, hereby make the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Seed Potatoes (Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 12th June 2006.

Amendment to the Seed Potatoes (Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 20052

In the Schedule to the Seed Potatoes (Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 20052, for the entries in paragraph 6 (fees for nuclear stock), columns 1 and 2, substitute the entries in the following table–

These Regulations, which come into force on 12th June 2006, amend the Seed Potatoes (Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2005 (“the 2005 Regulations”), which set fees payable to the Scottish Ministers for certain matters arising under the Seed Potatoes (Scotland) Regulations 2000. These Regulations substitute new fees for nuclear stock in paragraph 6 of the Schedule to the 2005 Regulations as follows (regulation 2)–
