Appointed days

3.  The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Private Security Industry Act is 6th July 2006, for–

(a) sections 1 to 5, 7 to 12, 19 and 20 and 22 to 25(1) and Schedules 1 and 2 (2); and

(b) sections 15(3) and 17, but only for the purpose of making regulations and orders.

Sections 2, 3, 7, 11, 13, 23 and 24 were amended by paragraphs 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 of Schedule 15 to the 2005 Act respectively. Section 2A was inserted by paragraph 3 of Schedule 15 to the 2005 Act.

Schedules 1 and 2 were amended by paragraphs 13 and 14 of Schedule 15 to the 2005 Act.

Section 15 was amended by paragraph 8 of Schedule 15 to the 2005 Act.
