Subject to paragraph (2), the Scottish Local Government Elections Rules 200210 and the Scottish Local Government Elections Amendment Rules 200211 are revoked on 17th February 2007.

The Rules referred to in paragraph (1) shall continue to have effect on and after 17th February 2007, as they had effect immediately before that date, for the purposes of any election to be held on or before 2nd May 2007.
