The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 7, 8(1), 11, 15(5), 17(1), 23, 25, 28, 35(1), 35(3) and 83(2) of the Animal Health Act 1981(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, make the following Order:
1981 c. 22 (“the 1981 Act”), amended by the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006 (asp 11) and the Animal Health Act 1981 (Amendment) Regulations 1992 (S.I. 1992/3293). The functions conferred under the 1981 Act on “the Ministers” (as defined by section 86 of that Act) were transferred, so far as within devolved competence, to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46).
