5. In regulation 2(1) (interpretation and application)–
(a)for the definition of the Habitats Directive” substitute–
““the Habitats Directive” means Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora M1 as amended from time to time;”; and
(b)omit the definition of “occupier”.
