Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2)(a) of the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 18(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
1. This Order may be cited as the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (Amendment of Specified Authorities) (No. 2) Order 2011 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
2.—(1) Schedule 2 to the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003(2) (the specified authorities) is amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
(2) In the listing of the specified authorities—
(a)under the heading “Executive bodies” insert, at the appropriate place, “Architecture and Design Scotland”;
(b)under the heading “Advisory bodies” omit “Architecture and Design Scotland”.

This Order amends schedule 2 to the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 to the effect that “Architecture and Design Scotland” is listed under the heading of Executive bodies rather than Advisory bodies.
Schedule 2 is relevantly amended by S.S.I. 2005/540.
