Amendments

8.—(1) Regulation 2(1) of the Food Labelling Regulations 1996(1) (interpretation) is amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).

(2) After the definition of “confectionery product”, insert—

““Council Regulation 1234/2007” means Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 establishing a common organisation of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products (Single CMO Regulation)(2);”.

(3) In the definitions of “semi-skimmed milk”, “skimmed milk” and “whole milk”, for “Article 3(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No 2597/97”, substitute—

“point III(1) of Annex XIII to Council Regulation 1234/2007”.
