PART 1 SPersonal Allowances

2.  For the purposes of paragraph 1 an applicant is entitled to main phase employment and support allowance if— S

(a) paragraph [F1 18 (components)] is satisfied in relation to the applicant; or

(b) the applicant is entitled to a converted employment and support allowance [F2 , or would be entitled but for the application of section 1A of the Welfare Reform Act (duration of contributory allowance)].
