2.—(1) The Scottish Ministers direct that, notwithstanding the adoption of the Highland-wide Local Development Plan, the specified provisions of—
(a)the Inverness Local Plan(1);
(b)the Nairnshire Local Plan(2);
(c)the Ross and Cromarty East Local Plan(3);
(d)the Sutherland Local Plan(4);
(e)the Caithness Local Plan(5);
(f)the West Highland and Islands Local Plan(6);
(g)the Wester Ross Local Plan(7); and
(h)the Badenoch and Strathspey Local Plan(8),
shall continue in force in relation to the area to which the Highland-wide Local Development Plan relates.
(2) In this article the “specified provisions” in relation to a local plan means the provisions specified in column 1 of the Part of the Schedule relating to that plan—
(a)subject, as the case may be, to any limitation or exclusion relating to those provisions specified in the corresponding entry in column 2; and
(b)other than any reference within those provisions to another provision which is not continued in force by this Order.
The Inverness Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 2nd March 2006.
The Nairnshire Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 21st December 2000.
The Ross and Cromarty East Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 8th February 2007.
The Sutherland Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 24th June 2010.
The Caithness Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 12th September 2002.
The West Highland and Islands Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 9th September 2010.
The Wester Ross Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 29th June 2006.
The Badenoch and Strathspey Local Plan was adopted by The Highland Council on 11th September 1997.
