The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 199996 are modified as follows.

In regulation 23(1)(db) (persons by whom theory tests may be conducted)97—

a

for the first “any” to “(asp 5))” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”; and

b

for the second “any relevant authority” substitute “that Service”.

In regulation 24(1)(cb) (persons by whom manoeuvres, practical and unitary tests may be conducted)98—

a

for the first “any” to “(asp 5))” substitute “the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service”; and

b

for the second “any relevant authority” substitute “that Service”.
