The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10(3)(a) and 86(2) of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 20001 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Adults with Incapacity (Supervision of Welfare Guardians etc. by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 12th August 2014.

Amendment of the Adults with Incapacity (Supervision of Welfare Guardians etc. by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Regulations 20022.

In regulation 2A(5)(a) of the Adults with Incapacity (Supervision of Welfare Guardians etc. by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Regulations 20022 (variation or cessation of local authorities duties), for “regulation 2(1)(b)” substitute “regulation 2(1)”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Adults with Incapacity (Supervision of Welfare Guardians etc. by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Regulations 2002 (“the principal Regulations”) to correct an erroneous cross-reference inserted into the principal Regulations by the Adults with Incapacity (Supervision of Welfare Guardians etc. by Local Authorities) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2014.
