Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 62(1)(h) of the Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 20081 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
The Scottish Ministers have consulted the Lord President in accordance with section 62(2) of that Act.
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (Administrative Support) (Specified Persons) Order 2015 and comes into force on 27th June 2015.
Specified persons2.
The Scottish Sentencing Council2 is specified for the purposes of section 62 of the Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order adds the Scottish Sentencing Council to the list of persons that the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service provides, or must ensure the provision of, administrative support for under section 62 of the Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008 (the 2008 Act).
By virtue of section 62(1) of the 2008 Act this includes providing, or ensuring the provision of, property, services and any staff required for the purposes set out in that section.
