Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of, and Schedule 3 to, the Superannuation Act 19721 and sections 1, 3 and 18 of, and Schedule 3 to, the Public Service Pensions Act 20132 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf.

In accordance with section 10(4) of the Superannuation Act 1972 and section 21 of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013, the Scottish Ministers have consulted the representatives of such persons as appear to the Scottish Ministers likely to be affected by these Regulations.

In accordance with section 10(1) of the Superannuation Act 1972 and section 3(5) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013, these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury.
