Appointed day2
The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 is 20th December 2016—
a
paragraphs 5(b) and (c), 6, 7 and 9 to 12 of schedule 4 (minor and consequential amendments) and section 144(1) (minor and consequential amendments and repeals) in so far as it relates to those paragraphs; and
b
section 144(2) (minor and consequential amendments and repeals) and schedule 5 (repeals) in so far as they relate to the Local Government in Scotland Act 2003.
