Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 207(4)(b) and 216(4) of the Equality Act 20101.
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Equality Act 2010 (Commencement No. 13) (Scotland) Order 2017 and comes into force on 1st April 2018.
Commencement of Part 1 of the Equality Act 20102

The following provisions of Part 1 (socio-economic inequalities) of the Equality Act 20102 come into force on 1st April 2018—
a
in section 1 (public sector duty regarding socio-economic inequalities), subsections (1) to (3) and (6);
b
section 2 (power to amend section 1), so far as it confers a power on the Scottish Ministers; and
c
section 3 (enforcement).
