The Waste Batteries (Scotland) Regulations 200966 are amended as follows.

In regulation 2 (interpretation)67—
a
in the definition of “Batteries Directive” at the end insert “, as last amended by Directive 2013/56/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council”, and
b
in the definition of “waste battery” at the end insert “, as last amended by Council Regulation (EU) 2017/997”.
