1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Ireland) (Further provision in respect of Scotland) Order 2019 and comes into force on the later of the following—
(a)immediately after the coming into force of the Social Security (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019(1),
(b)the date of the later of the notifications referred to in Article 65 of the Convention as set out in the schedule of the 2019 Order(2).
(2) In this Order “the 2019 Order” means the Social Security (Ireland) Order 2019(3).
2. Paragraphs (1) and (2) of article 2 of the 2019 Order (modification of legislation) apply insofar as—
(a)it is within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament to make the modification paragraph (1) describes, and
(b)the 2019 Order does not make that modification.
