The Adults with Incapacity (Ethics Committee) (Scotland) Regulations 20022 are amended as follows.

In regulation 3 (membership of the committee), in paragraphs (4) and (5), for “10” substitute “12” in both places it occurs.

In regulation 4 (chair and vice-chair)—
a
for “and” in the second place it occurs substitute “,”, and
b
after “Vice-Chair” insert “and up to two Alternate Vice-Chairs”.

In regulation 7(2) (procedures)—
a
for “7” substitute “3”,

in sub-paragraph (a) after “Vice-Chair” insert “or an Alternate Vice-Chair”, and
