In Part 6 (agricultural buildings and operations) of schedule 1 (classes of permitted development) in class 18 for sub-paragraph (2)(d) substitute—

“(d)

the ground area to be covered by any works or structure (other than a fence) for the purposes of accommodating livestock or any plant or machinery arising from engineering operations would exceed 465 square metres, calculated as described in sub-paragraph (5),

(da)

the ground area to be covered by any building erected or any building as extended or altered by virtue of this class—

(i)

is situated in a designated area and would exceed 465 square metres, calculated as described in sub-paragraph (5), or

(ii)

is situated elsewhere and would exceed 1,000 square metres, calculated as described in sub-paragraph (5),”,
