3.  In section 9A (registration officers: duty to take necessary steps), in subsection (2)—

(a) in paragraph (za), after “England” insert “or in Scotland”,

(b) in paragraph (a), omit “in Scotland or”,

(c) in paragraph (ba), after “England” insert “or in Scotland”.
