6. In regulation 6 (interpretation - residence and presence conditions) in the definition of “serving member of Her Majesty’s forces” in paragraph (c)—
(a)in the opening text omit “previously being”,
(b)at the beginning of sub-paragraph (i) insert “previously being”,
(c)for sub-paragraph (ii) substitute—
“(ii)paying or having previously paid one or more of the following classes of contributions under the Social Security Act 1975(1) or the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992(2)—
(aa)primary Class 1,
(bb)Class 2, or
(cc)Class 3, or”.
