These Regulations may be cited as the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019 (Commencement No. 9 and Saving and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 1 October 2022.

In these Regulations—

• “the Act” means the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019,

• “the 1997 Act” means the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 19972,

• “planning permission” and “completion notice” have the same meaning as in the 1997 Act.
