Citation, commencement and extent
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Dangerous Dogs (Compensation and Exemption Schemes) (Scotland) Order 2024 and comes into force on 1 April 2024.
(2) This Order extends to Scotland only.
Interpretation
2. In this Order—
“the Act” means the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991,
“the appointed day” means 31 July 2024,
“dog” means a dog of the type known as the XL Bully.
