Pastoral (Amendment) Measure 1994 (Appointed Day Instrument 1994)

Whereas the Pastoral (Amendment) Measure received the Royal Assent on the twenty fourth day of March 1994

And Whereas by section 15(2) of the said Measure it is provided that the Measure shall come into force on such date as the Archbishops of Canterbury and York may jointly appoint

Now therefore we GEORGE LEONARD by Divine Providence Archbishop of Canterbury and JOHN STAPYLTON by Divine Providence Archbishop of York do hereby jointly appoint that the said Measure shall come into force on the first day of April 1994
