7†Power to Decanal Conferences to make rules.U.K.
Subject to the provisions of this Measure, the [F1Deanery Synod] shall have power to make rules for giving effect to the purposes expressed in section three hereof and for settling its own procedure, and from time to time to vary or rescind the same, provided that such rules and any variation or rescission of the same shall require the approval of the Bishop, who shall have regard to the provisions of the Constitution of the [F2General Synod], including the rules for the representation of the laity; and shall take effect only from the date when such approval is given.
