SCHEDULE 9PART I OF SCHEDULE 2 TO THE HOUSING BENEFIT REGULATIONS AS AMENDED BY THIS ORDER

SCHEDULE 2APPLICABLE AMOUNTS

PART IPERSONAL ALLOWANCES

1.  The amounts specified in column (2) below in respect of each person or couple specified in column (1) shall be the amounts specified for the purposes of regulations 16(a) and 17(a) and (b)—

(b)less than 25;

(c)not less than 25.

(1) (b) £39.85;

(c)£50.35.

(2) Lone parent aged—

(a)less than 18;

(b)not less than 18.

(2) (a) £39.85;

(b)£50.35.

(3) Couple—

(a)where both members are aged less than 18;

(b)where at least one member is aged not less than 18.

(3) (a) £60.10;

(b)£79.00.

2.(1) (2) The amounts specified in column (2) below in respect of each person specified in column (1) shall, for the relevant period specified in column (1), be the amounts specified for the purposes of regulations 16(b) and 17(c)—

beginning on that person’s date of birth and ending on the day preceding the first Monday in September following that person’s eleventh birthday;

(a)£17.30;

(b)beginning on the first Monday in September following that person’s eleventh birthday and ending on the day preceding the first Monday in September following that person’s sixteenth birthday;

(b)£25.35;

(c)beginning on the first Monday in September following that person’s sixteenth birthday and ending on the day preceding that person’s nineteenth birthday.
