19. After regulation 12 there shall be inserted the following regulation—
12A.—(1) This regulation applies to a decision made under sections 108 to 110 of the Contributions and Benefits Act where a disease is subsequently treated as a recrudescence under regulation 7 of the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Prescribed Diseases) Regulations 1985(1).
(2) Where this regulation applies Chapter II of Part I of the Act shall apply as if section 8(2) did not apply.”.
