The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

The Boundary Commission for England, in accordance with section 3(1) of the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 1986(1), submitted to the Secretary of State a report dated 31st October 2006 showing the parliamentary constituencies into which they recommend, in accordance with that Act, that England should be divided.

A draft of this Order in Council together with a copy of the Boundary Commission’s report was laid before Parliament by the Secretary of State pursuant to section 3(5) of the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 1986, to give effect, without modifications, to the recommendations contained in the report, and each House of Parliament has by resolution approved the draft.

Therefore, Her Majesty, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to make the following Order under section 4 of the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 1986:

1986 c.56. Amendments made to the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 1986 by the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (c.41) are not yet in force.
