This Order makes provision in relation to disclosures of information by the Serious Organised Crime Agency established under Part 1 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005. Article 2 designates the functions (in addition to the functions listed in section 33 of the Act) for the purposes of the exercise of which the Agency may disclose information.
This Order revokes the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Disclosure of Information by SOCA) Order 2008 due to a defect that occurred during the parliamentary procedure for that Order.
