Social Security (Child Maintenance Bonus) Regulations 1996

15.  In regulation 1(2) of the Social Security (Child Maintenance Bonus) Regulations 1996(1) (interpretation), for the definition of “couple” substitute—

“couple” means—

(a)

two people who are married to, or civil partners of, each other and are members of the same household; or

(b)

two people who are not married to, or civil partners of, each other but are living together as a married couple;.

S.I. 1996/3195; the definition of “couple” was substituted by S.I. 2005/2877 and S.I. 2014/107. There are other amending instruments but none is relevant.
