The Crime and Courts Act 201326 is modified in accordance with paragraphs (3) and (4).

Those modifications do not apply in relation to a case in which a person is arrested or detained before this article comes into force.

Subsections (9) to (12) of section 55 are repealed.

Paragraphs 43, 45 to 47, 48(a) and 49 of Schedule 21 are repealed.
