PART 2Mayoral functions

For the purposes of the exercise of the general functions conferred by article 4—

a

members and officers of the GMCA may assist the Mayor; and

b

the Mayor has the power to do in relation to the general functions anything that the GMCA may do under section 113A of the 2009 Act (general power of EPB or combined authority) for the purposes of its functions15.
