Offences relating to registration etc.19

A person commits an offence who, with intent to deceive—
a
falsely represents anyone, including themselves, to have an approved qualification, or to be registered,
b
uses the title of anaesthesia associate or physician associate without being registered as such,
c
makes a false representation as to the content of the register, or
d
procures, or attempts to procure, the inclusion of information in, or exclusion of information from, the register.

A person who is guilty of an offence under paragraph (1) is liable—
a
on summary conviction in England and Wales, to a fine;
b
on summary conviction in Scotland or Northern Ireland, to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
