45Cinema licence fees
Section 3 (8) of the M1Cinemas Act 1985 (which relates to the grant, etc., of licences for film exhibitions) in its application to a participating council shall have effect as though—
(a)
after the word “cases” in both places where that word occurs there were inserted the words “or areas”; and
(b)
at the end there were inserted the words “and may make provision for different fees in the case of grants from those in the case of renewals”.
