And be it further enacted, That from and after the passing of this Act, where any Person shall have become bound to serve as a Clerk, in order to his Admission as an Attorney or Solicitor in any of His Majesty's Courts at Westminster, or in any of the Courts of the Great Sessions in Wales, or of the Counties Palatine of Chester, Lancaster, and Durham, or in any other Court of Record in England, by Articles of Clerkship duly stamped according to the Laws in force at the Time of the Date and Execution thereof, and shall, after the passing of this Act, in consequence of the Death of his Master, or from any other Cause, find it necessary or expedient to enter into new Articles of Clerkship, for a new Term of Years, for the same Purpose, such new Articles of Clerkship shall be chargeable only with a Duty of One Pound and Ten Shillings, and the Counterpart or Duplicate thereof with the like Duty ; any thing in this or any former Act contained to the contrary notwithstanding.
