XIIPresent Rights of Possession saved.
And be it enacted, That nothing herein-before contained shall be construed to prejudice or affect the Right of Possession in any Cathedral Preferment or Benefice to which any Spiritual Person shall have been collated, admitted, instituted, or licensed, or which shall have been otherwise granted to any Spiritual Person before the passing of this Act, unless he shall after the passing of this Act accept or take some Cathedral Preferment or Benefice contrary to the Provisions of this Act.
