11 Amendment of 57&58 Vict. c. 34. C1
The British Museum (Purchase of Land) Act 1894 (under which money was advanced for the purchase by the Trustees of the British Museum of certain property adjacent to Montagu House) shall be amended by the insertion of the following section after section 2—
2A Disposal of property purchased.
The said property shall not be sold or otherwise disposed of without consent of the Treasury, and the net proceeds of any sale or other disposition thereof shall be paid into the Exchequer.
