158 Exemption of licensed canteens from restrictions under s. 214 of Merchant Shipping Act 1894. E+W

A hostel which includes a licensed canteen shall be exempt from any byelaws made under section 214 of the M1 Merchant Shipping Act 1894 and from any Order in Council under that section requiring that only persons duly licensed under such byelaws shall keep seamen’s lodging houses or let lodgings to seamen.
