43Consequential amendments and repeals.

The enactments mentioned in Schedule 5 to this Act shall have effect subject to the amendments there specified, being amendments consequential on provisions of this Act.

The enactments mentioned in Schedule 6 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule—
a
in the case of the enactments described in Part I, from the passing of this Act;
b
in the case of those described in Part II, from 1st April 1967;
c
in the case of those described in Part III, from the day appointed under subsection (1) of section 38 of this Act and subject, as regards the enactments mentioned in paragraph 13 of Schedule 4 to this Act, to the provisions of that paragraph.
